Gorge is a series of dramatic limestone river canyons in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinerhir. The Todra and Dades rivers have carved out these canyons over centuries, with walls rising up to 400 meters high in some sections and narrowing to just 10 meters wide at certain points.

Todra Gorge is a popular location inhabited by hospitable Berber communities. The towering red and orange limestone cliffs create a breathtaking natural passage. The most dramatic section stretches for about 600 meters, with the canyon walls reaching their highest and the gorge at its narrowest.

The Palm Grove of Tinerhir is a lush 14 km palm grove extending from Tinerhir to the gorges is a striking contrast to the arid landscape. It’s a great location offering views of the traditional mud castles (ksars).

The Todra Gorge offers a blend of beautiful locations and traditional culture, making it a worthwhile location in Morocco.
