From the earliest stages of development, we handle everything from script translation to extensive location scouting across the region, utilising our deep local knowledge of Agadir’s expansive golden beaches, modern oceanfront promenades, bustling marina, and nearby desert and mountain backdrops.
Our production team and fixers navigate the complexities of local bureaucracy, securing crucial film permits and specialised drone permits from local authorities, coordinating directly with regional municipal bodies. We also manage smooth customs clearance, seamlessly handling carnets and shipping (including ATA Carnets) for gear arriving through Agadir–Al Massira Airport and major regional transport hubs directly into the Agadir area. To maximise your budget, we provide specialised financial guidance to help international productions efficiently access Morocco’s 30% cash rebate and secure complete local VAT exemptions.

Agadir
Agadir is a major city on the southwest coast of Morocco, known primarily as a modern beach resort and a popular destination for sun-seekers. Unlike many other Moroccan cities, Agadir has a distinctly contemporary feel due to a devastating earthquake in 1960 that levelled much of the old city. It was then meticulously rebuilt with modern infrastructure, wide boulevards, and a focus on tourism. Agadir boasts a magnificent crescent-shaped beach and promenade that stretches for several kilometres (over 7 miles).
While it lacks the ancient medinas of Fes or Marrakech, the rebuilt Agadir has a pleasant, open feel with green spaces and a relaxed atmosphere.
Agadir Oufella Kasbah is perched on a hill overlooking the city, these are the ruins of the old kasbah (fortress) that was largely destroyed in the 1960 earthquake. While only the outer wall remains, it offers the best panoramic views of the entire bay, the city, and the port, especially at sunset.
Souk El Had is Agadir’s main market and one of the largest in Morocco. It’s a vibrant and bustling place where you can find everything from spices, fresh produce, and local crafts to clothing, electronics, and household goods.
Agadir Medina (Coco Polizzi’s Medina) is a reconstructed medina designed by Italian architect Coco Polizzi, aiming to replicate the traditional Moroccan medina style after the original was destroyed. Agadir Marina is a modern, upscale area with luxury apartments, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants overlooking yachts and boats.
Crocoparc is located just outside Agadir, this botanical garden is home to over 300 Nile crocodiles in a beautifully landscaped environment.
Paradise Valley is located in the High Atlas foothills about an hour’s drive north. It’s a lush oasis with natural pools, waterfalls (seasonal) and palm trees.
Souss-Massa National Park is located south of Agadir, this coastal national park is a significant bird-watching site, particularly known for its efforts to conserve the endangered Northern Bald Ibis. You can spot various bird species within the diverse coastal landscape.
Agadir offers a different facet of location in Morocco, focusing on modern leisure and beach life while still providing tradition and stunning natural landscapes.
